When Mr. Turner and Mr. Roebuck decide to investigate, three members of Mr. Turner's 3rd grade class--Owen Henderson, Tulie Morris, and Trey Cuthbert--help out. But are the clues they find really what they seem? Does their suspect even exist? And most importantly, are they really going to have to smell EVERYONE'S breath???

Something smells funny at Warbly-Bird Elementary School, and teachers Mr. Turner and Mr. Roebuck are on the case, along with students Owen, Tulie, and Trey. What starts out as some mysterious smells in Mr. Turner's classroom leads them to an unused classroom where clues put them on the trail of an unseen magician! Can they draw out the mysterious magician and make him reveal himself? Mr. Turner might rather they didn't!
